Strategic Goal:  Develop and implement best management practices for restoration of damaged Fort Hood training areas limiting interference with military training functions/activities.  Expected outcomes include development of standard operating procedures for use by military personnel for restoring Fort Hood training facilities.

  •  Objective   Develop Best Management Practices where dairy compost applications provide a high probability of success.  Identify particular sites of interest to Ft. Hood personnel for implementation.  

  •  Objective  Evaluate soil data before dairy compost application and post application for 12 months

  •  Objective  Measure success of Revegetation

  •  Objective   Monitor impacts on water quality
