The Texas Agricultural Experiment Station’s Water Science Laboratory in Temple monitors sediment and other water quality parameters at fourteen locations on the Fort Hood Reservation in an effort aimed at determining the effectiveness of various land management practices. Eleven monitoring sites are fully instrumented with rain gauges, stream level loggers and automated water sampling equipment. The data on these pages are updated on a regular basis.
