TASK 3: Data handling and analysis

Objective: To develop the water quality databases for the selected Leon River sub-watersheds.
  • Develop a database representing water quality and water quantity values before ashe juniper clearing that will be used in comparison to post-clearing data (Month 6 through end of project).
  • Estimate water quality and sediment loading for storm events using flow data and laboratory results (reported as mg/l) for each storm water event (Months 6 through end of project).
  • Calculate flow volumes (water quantity) for the sub watersheds (month 6 through end of project).
  • Prepare a written analysis of the pre-clearing condition of the Leon River that will be used in the final publication (Month 12 through end of project).
Deliverables
  • Water quantity/quality database representing conditions of Leon River sub-watershed Rangelands prior to juniper clearing and the re-establishment of native prairie species.
  • Annual and Final Reports, Additional interim reports and participant meeting to review activities and progress will be scheduled as requested by TWDB, TDA, and CTCA.
  • Publish results after TDA / CTCA project is completed.
